Bi Visibility Day

Today is Bi Visibility Day.

Today we celebrate individuals who identify as bisexual. Bisexuality has long been considered “half-gay” or a stop on the way to “full gay”. But bisexuality is its own sexual orientation and means something different to every person who identifies as bi.

For some, it means being attracted to two genders. To others, it means being attracted to two or more genders. It doesn’t always include gender diverse individuals for some, while for others, gender diversity is inherently included. Regardless of how someone defines their bisexuality, it's a valid sexual orientation.

Today, let’s celebrate our bi siblings, and remember that unity amongst us is better than division.
